The testy relationship between Vanessa Bryant and her mother looks like it's going to be patched up. Or so it seems.

According to various reports, Vanessa has settled a lawsuit filed by her mother, Sofia Lane. The terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

In what could only be viewed as an unfortunate family fallout, Lane sued her daughter last year for allegedly not paying her for her services. Lane claimed she worked as a nanny for the children of Kobe Bryant and Vanessa for almost two decades and she's eligible to get $200,000. She also claimed in the lawsuit that Vanessa kicked her out of the house that Kobe allegedly bought for her.

The 38-year-old Vanessa tried to squash the lawsuit last March but to no avail. She also admitted that she was deeply affected by the allegations of her mother (via TMZ).

“(The lawsuit is) frivolous, disgraceful, and unimaginably hurtful. My husband never promised my mother anything, and he would be so disappointed in her behavior and lack of empathy. I have supported her for nearly 20 years and was never my or Kobe's personal assistant, nor was she a nanny.”

While Vanessa admitted that Lane took care of their children, she didn't do it for an extended period as she claimed.
