The memorial will take place on Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. at the Staples Center. (Where else?)

Kobe and Gianna tragically perished in a helicopter crash late last month. Kobe was 41 at the time of his passing, while Gianna was 13.

The deaths of Kobe Bryant and his daughter did not only affect the NBA landscape, but it rocked the entire world, and tributes for the former Lakers superstar have been pouring in over the last couple of weeks.

The Lakers were supposed to play the Los Angeles Clippers two days after Bryant's Jan. 26 death, but they postponed the game and did not retake the floor until Jan. 31, when they took on the Portland Trail Blazers.

Los Angeles ultimately lost that game, but that night was hardly about the result and everything about the pregame ceremony in which the Lakers honored Bryant, who spent a 20-year NBA career in Tinseltown.

During his lengthy tenure with the Lakers, Bryant collected five NBA championships, taking home Finals MVP honors twice. He also won the league's MVP award during the 2007-08 campaign.

Bryant will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this summer.

Over the course of his illustrious NBA tenure, Bryant averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.4 steals per game while making 18 All-Star appearances.

Kobe Bryant changed the game in ways that can never be altered and will go down as one of the greatest players to ever set foot on the hardwood.
