The Los Angeles Lakers are now considered to be the favorite to sign LeBron James.

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar is fresh off a sweep courtesy of the Golden State Warriors and many are beginning to believe that he will leave town.

He may want to think twice about the Lakers though, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski:

“I think L.A. could be a little bit of a trap for LeBron in this way…because Kobe will be there and Kobe will be critiquing how that is going.”

This is an interesting take and one that hasn't been brought up yet. Will LeBron be willing to go to a team where he'd constantly be compared to Kobe?

The one difference is few question Kobe is on LeBron's level so the individual comparison may not be the issue but rather the championships that Kobe brought the franchise.

It will be interesting to see what LeBron ends up deciding. Rumors are that his son may be enrolling in a school in L.A. so that could point to his interest.
