The Los Angeles Lakers are an unlikely landing spot for LeBron James if Paul George decides to remain with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Well, that's at least one rumor floating about the mean streets of Twitter.

There have been, obviously, a lot of rumors and reports surrounding both Paul George and LeBron James since the season ended. This tweet coming from Ryen Russillo, who is known as a trusted person when it comes to NBA stuff, can be added to the list off possible hints of what might come next.
Logically speaking, this all does make sense. Unless LeBron is set on playing for the Los Angeles Lakers — or Clippers for that matter — simply to live in LA, regardless of who is playing there, he'd likely only go to a team currently downtrodden if another star was coming with him.
With the NBA Draft now behind us, though, things should began to clarify in the LeBron sweepstakes, anyway. While it is fun to speculate and dip our toes in conjecture, it will be far more fun just to find out where he ends up going — not to mention the wild fallout that will come from that.
Basically, with Paul George's decision playing a part in this, LeBron is our offseason.
