Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma has been working on his stroke from beyond the arc this offseason, and it was on full display in Team USA's 102-86 exhibition victory over Australia on Thursday.

Kuzma had his shot going early against Australia. In fact, the former 27th overall pick knocked down four of his five attempts from the 3-point line. He was 3-for-3 in the first quarter alone:

Earlier this month, Kuzma noted that there are still aspects of his game that he would like to improve, including his shooting form. He explained to Kyle Goon of the Orange County Register how he was tweaking his shot:

“Keeping it high, using my wrists and be strong flicking it, use my legs,” Kuzma said. “I don’t want to be overthinking it. Just those three things, and trust the process.”

Kuzma is coming off a fine season with the Lakers. In 70 appearances with the team, the 24-year-old racked up averages of 18.7 points on 45.6 percent shooting from the field (30.3 percent from beyond the arc), 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 33.1 minutes per outing.

Team USA will be back for more exhibition action on Saturday, when they'll face the Australian side again. Tip-off is set for midnight ET.
