Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was working out at the team's facility when he saw ESPN's First Take discussing a rumor which claimed he's upset with the franchise.

To get ahead of the rumor, James posted the following video on his Instagram story, denying that he has any rift with the Lakers:

The 2018-19 season was an utter disaster for the Lakers. LeBron James put up monster numbers as usual, but the Lakers were never able to rebound from the groin injury which The King suffered on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors.

James missed 17 games in a row, and the Lakers went 6-11 during that stretch. The failed trade attempt for New Orleans Pelicans superstar big man Anthony Davis essentially broke up LA's locker room and the team was a walking disaster to close out the season.

To make matters even worse, Magic Johnson stepped down from his president role, a move no one in the organization saw coming. The Lakers and Luke Walton also parted ways after the season ended.

This is a huge summer for the Purple and Gold. Not only do they have to hire the right coach to lead the team, but they have to try and sign a star player in free agency as well.
