The hype for Wednesday night's showdown between top-ranked junior point guard LaMelo Ball and second-ranked senior high schooler Zion Williamson was the biggest since the LeBron James high school era, packing a sold-out Cashman Center in Las Vegas and leaving thousands of people at the door after surpassing full capacity, in efforts to avoid a fire code infraction.

The stakes were as big as they could get, a championship game in the Adidas Uprising AAU circuit in Sin City, getting the attention of pros like Damian Lillard, Eric Gordon, and Andrew Wiggins — even LeBron James was slated to get a courtside seat, but later turned back due to the massive attendance and amount of police in the venue.

Take a look at LaMelo and Zion's eye-catching night at this year's championship (h/t to Baller Visions and Overtime for the event coverage)
