As the news about LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball signing with Prienu Vytautas continue to be one of the most talked about topics in the basketball world today, many are already looking forward to seeing the brothers play as professionals in Lithuania. A lot of fans are also curious on how they will adjust to their new environment, especially since they will live in a different country, far away from home.

However, their father, LaVar Ball, doesn’t think it will be much of an adjustment for them. He also added, via The Washington Post's Tim Bontemps, that he believes it’s a great situation, and that it is what’s best for his sons as they prepare for the NBA.

“I think it's a good situation because I thought of it,” LaVar Ball said. I only think of what’s best for my boys, and they understand I never steer them wrong, and I don't think I'm going to start steering them wrong now.”

“No, it's not a big transition. It's very low, on the fact that we'll play basketball anywhere,” he said. “It's a big transition if you go to the clubs all the time, if you're used to fancy whims and cars. But if you just want to be in the gym? What the hell's the difference?”

The older Ball may be downplaying the whole situation, as he does not want any doubts to creep in the minds of LiAngelo and LaMelo. Although the language, culture and brand of basketball could cause them both to struggle at first, LaVar is showing how much he trusts them to quickly adapt to what the European country has in store for them.

No further reports have been made on which game this season the Ball brothers will make their much anticipated debut for Prenius Vytautus, but one thing that’s certain is that there will be a lot of eyes on them once they play, and it will be interesting to see how they’ll fare as professionals.
