The Liberty hit 15 of their 18 shot attempts and six of their eight tries from the 3-point line in the first ten minutes, according to a Sunday tweet from ESPN women's basketball reporter Alexa Philippou. Forward Betnijah Laney ended the game with 22 points and four rebounds. Center Jonquel Jones finished the game with an 18-point double-double.
Fever guard Victoria Vivians recorded 16 points, four steals and one block by the end of the Sunday matchup. The veteran guard has played in 20 games and started in four for Indiana this season, including two starts against the Liberty in May and July.

The Liberty clinched a berth in the Commissioner’s Cup championship with the win, according to the Associated Press. Guard Sabrina Ionescu led the Liberty with 34 points, while forward Breanna Stewart ended the outing with an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double.
New York sits in second place in the WNBA in points per contest with 88.8 and in field goal percentage with 46%. It leads the league after it hit 38.9% of its shots from the 3-point line in 21 games played. The Liberty hit 48.6% of their 3-point attempts in a June win over the Atlanta Dream, sinking 17 of their 35 tries from the perimeter as New York took a 110-80 victory in the Gateway Center.
The Liberty are in first place in the Eastern Conference and second in the WNBA with a record of 16-5. Stewart leads the squad with 23.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, highlighted by a 45-point, 12-rebound performance against the Fever in May.
The Liberty will take on the Seattle Storm at 7 p.m. EDT on Tuesday in the Barclays Center. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN3.
