Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball has made a lot of headlines since the start of the Summer League. He drew a lot of criticism for the dismal performance he had during their first outing, and had mixed reactions when he wore Kobe Bryant‘s Nike shoes and registered a huge 36-point game on Wednesday.

During their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers Thursday night, Ball decided to once again ditch his ZO2's and instead rocked the Adidas signature kicks of James Harden.

While it's still surprising to see the former UCLA Bruin not sporting any shoes from his family's Big Baller Brand, it did not affect his game at all. He registered his second triple-double of the Summer League and finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists.

Sports Illustrated's Ben Golliver may have highlighted the most impressive tidbit about Ball's feat.

Although his achievements this summer won't matter once the regular season starts, it may do wonders for his confidence as it will definitely boost his morale. With the starting point guard spot his to lose, it will be exciting times once again for the Los Angeles faithful as they are hopeful that their young players can lead them to more victories next year, and even make it back to the playoffs.
