After being denied a goal by VAR in the first half, Real Madrid was determined not to allow technology to be the reason they missed out on adding another Champions League Trophy to the trophy case. Karim Benzema's denied goal in the first half was impactful, but Real Madrid managed to keep their foot on the gas and grab a goal in the second half, courtesy of a connection between Francisco Valverde and Vinicius Jr.
