Just the ability to space the floor and have weapons around the floor — it’s gonna create an offensive threat to any team so I’m excited to play alongside those guys and learn a lot. Should be a really good season for us.” Kennard said about the trade.

A month after the trade, the Los Angeles Clippers signed Luke Kennard to a four-year $64 million contract extension,

During the 2021-2022 season, Kennard played in 70 games and had 13 starts. He averaged 11.9 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.1 assists per game to go along with a career-high 44.9% rating from the three-point range.
