Orlando Magic fans have been awaiting any sign of life from Markelle Fultz after the former No. 1 overall selection was acquired via trade after less than two full seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, who ironically traded up to get him in 2017.

Fultz is now back in the gym, showing off a polished jumper, which will be a welcome sight for those anxious to see him take the court.

The 21-year-old  has endured a myriad of issues since being drafted into the league, the most notable a case of thoracic outlet syndrome, which has hindered his ability to shoot. Fultz exhibited no signs of an injury during his lone year at the University of Washington, but issues arose as he started to expand his range to the three-point line ahead of his first season in the league.

Fultz has played a total of 33 NBA games through his first two seasons — all for the Sixers, as he has yet to suit up in a Magic uniform, with the franchise taking an utmost careful approach.

This video below shows he's now able to shoot the long-range jump shot, as well as shoot it off the dribble — an innate skill that made him the consensus No. 1 pick two years ago.

Before taking on the NBA, Fultz was the sixth-best scorer in the nation with a 23.2 points per game clip and a potent three-point shooter with a percent of 41.3 in his freshman season. If he can regain any semblance of the scoring assassin he once was at the college ranks, the Magic may just have gotten a true steal at the deadline.
