Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol is known for his effective post moves and solid jumpers near the basket. This year he looks to have added a new skill to his repertoire as he's been showing his extended range with an effective three-point shooter.

The 7-foot big man has never shot more than 17 threes in a season, but after only his team's third game on Sunday, he has already attempted 13 and made six – none more important than the second one he made Sunday, which sent the game into overtime.

That made three-pointer proved to be vital as the Grizzlies won the game 112-103. Gasol finished with 20 points, including 4-of-6 from deep, and added 10 rebounds.

Gasol now owns a new career-high with those four made three-pointers in one game.

With 79 more games to go, he'll look to establish an even more impressive personal best and make it a regular part of his offensive arsenal. Should Gasol continue this pace, it's possible he'll end up with at least one made three-point field goal a game.
