The Dallas Mavericks are having a forgettable season. They've been unable to turn around an unfortunate slide that has landed them at an 11-26 record, sharing the worst record in the Western Conference with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Reports recently surfaced that the Mavs are listening to offers for guard Wesley Matthews in an effort to make changes. Mark Cuban caught wind of the news and spoke with Mike Fisher of DallasBasketball.com.

Cuban says the team is not looking to move Matthews and have not so much as discussed it.

“We are not listening to any Wes trade offers.”

Matthews is an exceptional talent that can help any team vying for a championship.

Currently, he's averaging 15.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while shooting 37.5% from beyond the arc.

Add in Matthew's heart for playing defense and he is an asset to any roster that would have him.

He is currently slated for $17 million on the books this season so any incoming trade would need to at least match his salary.

The NBA trade deadline is February 23 at 3 p.m. EST.
