Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy by Square Enix drops a video with Eidos Montreal gives us a peek of the game's beautiful soundtrack.

The Guardians of the Galaxy have become one of the most known Marvel teams out there. Thanks to James Gunn and his two GOTG films, Marvel fans can always expect a good soundtrack to come along anything Guardians-related. Although Square Enix and Eidos Montreal's take on the Guardians of the Galaxy is going to be quite different from the films, that doesn't mean that music won't play a big part.

Square Enix released a new video today where studio members at Eidos Montreal spoke about the soundtrack involved with Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Much like the film series, developers working on the game stated that the soundtrack is essential to its overall tone. “The music, it's definitely infused in the DNA of this game,” explained Eidos Senior Audio Director Steve Szczepkowski. “The Guardians are pretty much a rock n' roll band. They're a band of misfits that found each other and have a common goal. With Guardians, the music goes beyond what a normal score and soundtrack would do.”

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is set to release later this fall on October 26 and will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
