Marvel's Eternals latest trailer recently just dropped and some fans think they saw the devourer of worlds himself, Galactus.

Marvel's Eternals Trailer

The latest trailer for Marvel's Eternals recently just dropped and boy was it epic. Soon after the trailer arrived, people started tweeting about a certain devourer of worlds. This is due to the fact they thought the massive being they saw in the trailer was Galactus, the popular villain from Marvel Comics.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble fellas. That giant being in the Eternals trailer was in fact, a Celestial. While Galactus remains to be one of the most popular gigantic villains in Marvel Comics, there are actually quite a few things that set him apart from the Celestials.

The Celestials are a race of space beings created by the First Firmament along with the Aspirants. Galactus, on the other hand, came from the 6th cosmos and was the last being alive before the 7th cosmos. Although, in the traditional sense, Galactus is a celestial-type being as he is essential for the universe and brethren with Eternity and the other abstract. But technically no he's not a Celestial.

In all honesty, I blame the Fox Fantastic Four films. Rise of The Silver Surfer ruined Galactus and that's the real reason people don't really know what Galactus looks like. I mean, just look at these tweets:

Sums it up pretty much

Who's getting nailed?

Galactus or no Galactus, it will be an awesome movie either way. The Eternals trailer already unveiled what's gonna be in store for us and we can't wait to see more. Marvel’s Eternals is set to release on October 28, 2021.
