On and off the court, it seemed like Boban Marjanovic and Luka Doncic have already formed a great bond as teammates with the Dallas Mavericks. Marjanovic was in his usual comedic self as he posted a celebratory video on Instagram for the 22nd birthday of Doncic, via Yahoo Sports.

The two players looked like they have formed quite a bond, which could be in part due to their shared European backgrounds. Marjanovic was raised in Serbia while Doncic grew up in Slovenia. Their good chemistry was already evident ever since Marjanovic came to the Mavs during the 2019 offseason after a short stint with the Philadelphia 76ers.
On the floor, the 32-year-old big man is only playing spot minutes for the Mavericks, with averages of 4.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.1 blocks in 18 games played this season.
Meanwhile, Doncic is already playing in his third season in the league at the age of 22. He already managed to live up to the billing of a lottery pick due to his good showing in recent seasons. His campaign in the 2020-21 season is just as impressive as he is currently averaging 28.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 9.0 assists through 31 appearances.
Doncic was able to notch his second straight All-Star appearance this season due to his heavy production on the floor as the main man of the Mavericks. However, his individual numbers have yet to translate to team success as the Dallas-based squad is still settling for a 16-16 record for the ninth spot in the Western Conference.
Despite their struggles, Mavs fans continue to have high expectations for their team as they hope to vie for a playoff spot as the season progresses. Perhaps Boban Marjanovic's hilarious birthday video for Luka Doncic could provide some temporary respite as the Mavericks continue to go through a long campaign in the 2020-21 season.
