Luka Doncic encountered foul trouble on Sunday against the Atlanta Hawks, and so when he found his Dallas Mavericks teammate Jalen Brunson to be on the same boat, he couldn't contain his delight.

For real.

As hilarious as it may seem, Brunson confirmed it really happened, sharing how the Slovenian guard hugged him after he got his fifth foul of the game. Of course the Mavs guard was confused his superstar teammate would be happy with such issue–especially when they were trying to close out the game.

“I was very tempted to push him away from me because I was heated at the time,” Brunson said of Doncic's hug, per Callie Caplan of Dallas Morning News. “He was happy I got my fifth. I was like, ‘You make no sense right now.'”

Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson had five fouls each through three quarters, so one can understand the latter's frustration. Not to mention that the Mavs were only ahead by four points going into the final period.

However, that is also a prime example of the Slovenian guard trying to have as much fun in the game as he can–regardless how frustrating the situation can be. Besides, it's easy to forget that he is just 22 years old.

Luckily for the two, they were able to avoid fouling out and helped lead the Mavs to a 103-94 victory. Doncic finished with a triple-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, while Brunson had 22 points, five boards and five dimes.
