Dallas Mavericks phenom Luka Doncic has broken the record of Michael Jordan for the most consecutive 20-5-5 games in league history.

Per Mavs PR, Doncic has now 19 straight games with at least 20 points, five, rebounds, and five assists. Doncic claimed the record in Sunday's loss to the Sacramento Kings.

He ended the game with 27 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

The 20-year-old Slovenian continues to impress and take the NBA by storm. After all, these impressive individual records are also translating into victories of the Mavs.

Prior to their loss to the Kings, the Mavs were on a five-game winning streak. As of this writing, they have a 16-7 record for third place in the dreaded Western Conference.

The combination of team victories and stellar individual performances have propelled Luka Doncic to the top of the MVP ladder of some analysts. Though there's a ton of games left, many believe that Doncic has a strong chance to claim that trophy.

It's not a sign of disrespect to Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is leading the Milwaukee Bucks to another great season. But Doncic is doing very spectacular things in just his second year in the league and at 20-years-old.

Just when die-hard fans feel that the have seen everything in the league, Doncic suddenly arrives to showcase his tremendous basketball talents.
