After the Dallas Mavericks' heartbreaking loss to the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, Mavs star Luka Doncic called out the referees for missing several late-game calls.

With less than 30 seconds remaining and the Mavs down by a point in the game, Doncic aggressively drove to the hoop, kicked it out, and apparently got smacked in the face which floored him. After the game, the 21-year-old claimed that he got hit in the face three times.

“I got hit in the face and that should be a foul. They should look at it. I think the rule is when you get hit in the face they look at it to see if it’s flagrant or no, right? I got hit in the face three times —two of them was not a foul,” Luka Doncic said, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

After the apparent no-call, the Pacers brought the ball to the other end of the floor. Victor Oladipo got fouled and subsequently drained the two free throws to put his team up 112-109. Doncic failed to tie the game for the Mavs despite getting two cracks at the basket.

The Slovenian finished with 36 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Tim Hardaway added 30 points while Kristaps Porzingis chipped in nine points and eight rebounds in a losing effort for the Mavs

The loss breaks Dallas' mini two-game winning streak. They now sport a 39-26 record for seventh in the West. With 17 games remaining in their regular-season schedule, the Rick Carlisle-led squad has a chance to enter the top five in the West.

However, it may be a tall order since the Mavs will be playing against contenders in their next few games, including the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz.
