Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic may just be playing in his third season in the league but he continues to make his mark in the record books as of late. In an all-around effort against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night, the Mavs star managed to record his 34th career triple-double and surpassed Bob Cousy for 11th on the all-time list, per NBA History.

After eclipsing the Boston Celtics legend, Luka Doncic will be setting his sights on Fat Lever who currently sits on the ninth spot with 43 career triple-doubles. Coincidentally, the former NBA All-Star also briefly played for the Mavs from 1990 to 1994.

On Monday night, Doncic topped his team with 25 points, 16 assists, and 10 rebounds through 38 minutes played against the Clippers. Kristaps Porzingis added 22 points and seven rebounds but it wasn't enough to overcome Kawhi Leonard's heroics for Los Angeles.

The five-time All-Star tallied 22 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and four steals to lift his Clippers team to a 109-99 victory over the Mavs. With the loss, head coach Rick Carlisle and his squad dropped back to a 20-18 record for the eighth spot in the Western Conference.

After encountering a slow first half of the season, Luka Doncic and the Mavs are expected to put up stronger performances for the remainder of their campaign as they continue to fight for a playoff spot in the West. Merely playing at 22 years of age, the Slovenian star will definitely climb higher on the all-time list and break more records as his career progresses moving forward.
