After the Dallas Mavericks lost to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday at home, Mavs star Luka Doncic didn't meet with the media and immediately left the arena.

Doncic was very upset about the loss and explained his decision to leave the Mavs stadium early on Wednesday:

“I was feeling sad yesterday,” Doncic said, via Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News. “Not feeling great. I was pissed. I went straight home. You just have to get through it. When we lose a game like this and I have a bad game, I feel like I let everybody down and I want to be alone.

“Next day, it’s all better.”

The Clippers defeated the Mavs by a final score of 114-99. Doncic finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists, but shot just 4-of-14 from the field and 0-of-8 from beyond the arc.

Doncic, who has been playing like an MVP this season, was disappointed with his performance. This is why the Mavs love Luka, though. He takes every loss seriously and wants to play well every night.

Dallas is 11-6 on the season, good for fourth place in the Western Conference standings. They will look to get back in the win column on Friday against the Phoenix Suns.
