Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic is slowly creating a reputation as a notorious whiner. During their road game against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night, referee Bill Kennedy gave the Slovenian Sensation a dose of his own medicine. The senior official fired back at Doncic as the latter went on his continuously complained on a call.

Doncic, who just turned 22 a couple of weeks ago, has gotten a lot of flak for his excessive complaining. The ultra-talented Mavs star is self-aware that he needs to cut back in arguing so much with the officials. Still, that doesn't seem to be the case as seen with his back-and-forth with Bill Kennedy on Saturday. Nevertheless, Doncic may have a valid argument with his complaints, considering he does get hit a lot, especially when on his aggressive drives to the basket.

While some people have grown sour on Doncic for his on-court behavior, he is still as elite as they come in playing the game. Doncic has turned it up a notch during Dallas' impressive stretch to finish the first half of the 2020-21 season, where the Mavericks won 9 of 11 games. In his 10 appearances over that stretch, the 22-year old stud averaged 31.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 8.0 assists, and shot 51.9 percent from the field and 46.5 percent from beyond the arc. Luka can complain all he wants, if he keeps putting up W's for his team.

After missing Dallas' previous game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, Doncic helped the Mavs take a road win over the Nuggets, 116-103. He finished with 21 points, five rebounds, and 12 assists as Dallas continues to rise up the West standings.
