Despite losing a shoe, Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic tried his best to get back on the play in their game against the Orlando Magic on Monday.
Check the exact play where Doncic's shoe suddenly slipped off his foot. Notice that he didn't even try to pick it up. Instead, the Mavs All-Star ran back on defense with nothing but a sock on his left foot.

This blooper has occurred many times to several players. Basketball can be so tense that not even these expensive sneakers can hold on. Perhaps the most famous and worst one in recent was when Zion Williamson's shoe blew off his feet during his stint in Duke. The same thing happened to San Antonio Spurs legend Manu Ginobili. As such, we can say that the Mavs star was pretty fortunate that his shoe simply slipped off his feet and did not get completely destroyed.
The good thing for Luka Doncic is that he guided his Mavs to a 130-124 victory over the Magic.
Once again, Luka stuffed the stat sheet with 33 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Jalen Brunson came off the bench and chipped in 24 points, while Kristaps Porzingis had 17 points and 10 rebounds. The Mavs have now won two games in a row.
