The Dallas Mavericks are off to a rocky start in the NBA Bubble in Orlando. After an impressive win against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Mavs earlier today lost to the Indiana Pacers tallying a 1-1 scrimmage record heading into the seeding games later this week. Mavs superstar Luka Doncic feels that this will be the story in their next scrimmage even up to the first of the eight remaining regular-season games, but he doesn't seem to be worried.

Per writer Davide Chinellato's tweet, Doncic is confident that its the playoffs that ultimately matter and they will be fully ready by then.

According to Doncic, Dallas might need some more time to be fully in sync as the upcoming seeding games are fast approaching. Just like all the teams in the league, the Mavs had a four-month hiatus from basketball due to the COVID-19 pandemic and have been slowly getting back to game-shape inside the NBA's Bubble in Orlando. And, blunders like Kristaps Porzingis forgetting to take a coronavirus test won't help the Mavs' cause.

The league has set-up a few scrimmages for all the teams invited to Orlando to help them adjust and adapt to their new environment. After their first two scrimmages, which they respectively won and lost, the Mavs have a total of eight seeding games as teams try to make it to the post-season.

Currently, Dallas is sitting in the seventh spot of the Western Conference and are a few games ahead of the eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies. This gives the Mavs a little wiggle room to clinch a much-coveted playoff spot. And, per Doncic, the Mavs will be ready once the post-season comes.

Dallas' first assignment in their seeding games schedule will be the Houston Rockets on July 31.
