Mavs forward Luka Doncic had an impressive outing against the Bulls on Monday night. The Slovenian-born star logged 34 minutes, finishing with his ninth 30-point triple-double of this season. It's an impressive feat, but Doncic isn't letting the numbers go to his head.

Via ESPN's Tim MacMahon:

“I don't mind, but [it's] just stats. I think every game is another stat,” Doncic said, referring to frequent notes on the rare historical company he joins statistically. “For me, all I would say is it's more important to get a win.”

According to ESPN, Luka's nine triple-doubles with 30 or more points is the most by any player in the NBA. In fact, it's more than all other players combined, with Lakers superstar LeBron James having three such games to his credit this season. Luka has scored at least 35 points in a triple-double six times this season.

Doncic is now in his second season of service with the Mavs, and he continues to show that he's one of the more talented players in the NBA. He's made 32 appearances in this campaign, racking up averages of 29.7 points on 47.4 percent shooting from the field (33.1 percent from beyond the arc), 9.7 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 32.8 minutes per outing.

Impressively, Doncic has recorded 19 triple-double performances in his career, and he's only 20 years of age. According to ESPN, the next players on the list for most triple-doubles before turning 21 are Magic Johnson (seven) and James (five).

Doncic and the Mavs will be back in action on Wednesday night, when they'll serve as hosts to the Denver Nuggets. Tip-off inside the American Airlines Center is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, with ESPN having live broadcast coverage.
