Dallas Mavericks rookie sensation Luka Doncic had quite a memorable All-Star Weekend debut. Not only did he manage a couple of appearances in two of the weekend's events, but the 19-year-old also saw to it that he would engage in some much needed R&R shortly after.

Doncic decided to use some of his down time to hang out with Charlotte Hornets big man Willy Hernangomez. The 6-foot-11 center then posted a hilarious Boomerang GIF of a jolly Doncic dancing away at what appears to be a high-end vacation resort.

Mavs owner Mark Cuban came across the post and made sure to thank Hernangomez for allowing him to check in on his prized rookie:

After an action-packed All-Star Weekend for Doncic, he certainly deserves a break. He took the court on All-Star Friday, starting for Team World as they took on Team USA in this year's edition of the Rising Stars Challenge. The 6-foot-7 forward logged 13 points (on 5-of-12 shooting), three 3-pointers, five rebounds, nine assists, and two steals in what turned out to be a 161-144 defeat for his side.

Doncic was back in action again on Saturday as he participated in the Skills Challenge. He was awesome in the first round, eliminating Los Angeles Lakers stud Kyle Kuzma, to book a second-round matchup against fellow rookie Trae Young. Unfortunately for Doncic, the Atlanta Hawks point guard had the better of him in the second round, which marked the end of Doncic's All-Star Weekend debut.

The Mavs are slated to resume their post-break schedule with a matchup against the surging Denver Nuggets on Friday night. We should expect a rejuvenated Doncic in that one, as he hopes to lead his team to victory against Nikola Jokic and company.
