The Dallas Mavericks have announced that both Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis will be out on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies. Luka will be sidelined with an ankle injury, while Porzingis will be out with a knee injury.

This is a tough blow for the Mavs as they are coming off a disappointing loss against one of the worst teams in the league, the New Orleans Pelicans. Dallas is most likely being cautious as they are on a back-to-back and have a tough road trip coming up. After Saturday's contest against the Grizzlies, the Mavs will take on the Brooklyn Nets, Grizzlies, Indiana Pacers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. All of these games are going to be on the road, so if they are not feeling 100-percent, it would make sense that both of them sit out.

Dallas has been playing some decent basketball this season. They're currently in fifth place of the Western Conference sitting at 11-10 on the year. If they want to make any noise in the playoffs, they're going to need Kristaps Porzingis to continue playing how he has been as of late, and they're also going to need Luka to be 100-percent healthy.

The Grizzlies also have some injuries in Ja Morant and Kyle Anderson. Dallas is going to need some big production from guys like Tim Hardaway Jr on Saturday if they want a chance to beat a tough Memphis team.
