Spencer Dinwiddie is not taking back what he said about the Washington Wizards' locker room, and the Dallas Mavericks guard even has some major shade for his former team.

Dinwiddie was unwanted in Washington and reportedly had issues with his Wizards teammates. It led him to getting traded to Dallas alongside Davis Bertans in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis. While it looked like the Capital City team got the better player, Dinwiddie has been thriving in Texas as well, which makes it a win-win deal for both NBA franchises.

Of course Dinwiddie has some issues with the Wizards, especially with how he was painted in the media. After he was traded to the Mavs, he spoke out about his time in Washington and highlighted how he was basically “kicked out the door.”

“When the role changed and they wanted me to pass more — they felt like I was scoring a lot — I did that. I took my foot off the gas scoring-wise because that's what they felt — the team needed to get [Kyle Kuzma] and [Kentavious Caldwell-Pope] and those guys shots. I said, ‘Look, I already got paid. This is about y'all trying to get the shots that y'all need, whatever,'” Dinwiddie said at the time, via Yahoo.com.

Now, after meeting his former team for the first time since the trade, Spencer Dinwiddie didn't hold back his thoughts and emphasized he's not taking a step-back from his previous comments. He then reminded the Wizards that they are already out of playoff contention, while the Mavs are already secured of a playoff spot.

“I said what I said about the organization. I know that they've since made comments about their own locker room that kind of validated what I've said about the situation. … Let them go to the offseason and let us go to the playoffs,” Dinwiddie said, per Hoops District.

The Mavs got blown out by the Wizards on Friday, 135-103, but sure enough, Dinwiddie still got the last laugh.

Dallas is only playing for playoff seeding right now, and there is no doubt they are really happy with the addition of Dinwiddie. For the veteran guard, he's just contented to be in a team that wants him as well.
