Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis isn’t letting the boos (and expletives) get to him in his return to the Madison Garden on Thursday. The Mavs' 7’3 Latvian center punctuated his strong showing against his former team New York Knicks, with a well-timed two-handed put back jam that certainly had Knicks fans reminiscing.

With three seconds left till the third quarter buzzer, Luka Doncic fired a stepback three-pointer in a bid to give Dallas the lead back entering the final frame. He missed his long distance attempt, but Porzingis came out of nowhere for the follow-up hammer over Julius Randle.

The Knicks eventually had the last laugh as they won the ball game, 106-103. New York was also victorious in a road game against Dallas last Friday.

Porzingis finished with a strong effort of 20 points and 11 rebounds, albeit in another losing effort. He is averaging 18.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks in his first season away from New York.
