Luka Doncic is clearly having an impressive rookie year. The 19-year-old Slovenian has been leading the way on the Dallas Mavericks' quest of making the playoffs this year.

Despite being new to the NBA, Doncic seems well-adjusted. He's been able to create an offensive arsenal that's difficult to stop, including a deadly step back jumper.

During the first quarter of the Mavs' game against the Phoenix Suns, Doncic was being guarded by fellow rookie Mikal Bridges. He decided to dance with his defender, then pulled up for a step back three-pointer. Bridges contested the shot and committed a foul in the process, resulting in a four-point play for the rookie sensation.

Well, just another day at the office for Luka.

The Suns lead the Mavs 29-28 early in the second quarter, with Doncic scoring 14 points and grabbing two rebounds. The Mavericks have lost three straight games and dropped to 14th in the Western Conference standings. They still have a fighting chance to make the playoffs, as they are only four games behind the eighth-seeded Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite his team's struggles, Doncic has a potential to make the All-Star game roster. He's currently third in the voting from the Western Conference with 679,839 votes. Results were released a week ago.
