Article Continues BelowThe Yankees went into the sixth inning with a 6-0 deficit and Cole's line after five was eight hits, six runs (five earned), and a pair of walks, and his ERA has ballooned up to 2.66.
The Yankees are four games over .500 but are six games behind the Tampa Bay Rays for first place in the American League East and the Red Sox are just half a game back.
