Card breaking groups have been at the forefront of the hobby’s recent surge in popularity. It’s easy to be enticed because joining breaks can give collectors a solid chance to pull an insane banger out of nowhere. For instance, just take this wicked Babe Ruth monster that was pulled recently.

In a video shared by Cardporn, a breaker is about to reveal the card hidden behind a cover. With just a tiny peek, the person behind the camera loses all sense of composure and goes out in a frenzy. After a few seconds, it was revealed to be a nasty Babe Ruth autographed card, which then solicited a lot of swearing and shouting in the background.

This sweet autographed card of The Great Bambino, which was seemingly willed into existence by the breaker, can be found from the Topps 2021 Transcendent Collection Hall of Fame Edition. The oversized HOF Cut Signature card of Ruth for this particular set is labeled as a One of One variant. This means there’s only one of its kind in existence, causing the frantic reactions from the card breakers themselves.

As of now, the autographed Babe Ruth card has not yet been priced. Using eBay, the closest comparison that can be considered is a 1933 Sport Kings Babe Ruth Cut Auto card encased in a BGS slab. That particular card fetched $15,000 on the online shopping platform.

With that value in mind, it’s safe to say that this amazing Babe Ruth pull can go even higher. For sure, this will be another impressive feather to the card breaking industry, especially if its price goes wild on the market.
