With the this year's All-Star Weekend only a few days away, the stage is set for a lot of events, including the much anticipated Slam Dunk Contest that will feature Donovan Mitchell, Larry Nance Jr., Victor Oladipo, and Dennis Smith Jr. competing for the title.

As the festivities will take place in Los Angeles, a star-studded list of judges will determine who will be crowned slam dunk king this year.

Being in Hollywood, some famous actors and T.V. personalities are part of the group of judges, as recently announced by the NBA, with Chris Rock. Mark Wahlberg and DJ Khaled headlining the list. Former Slam Dunk champion and Hall of Famer Julius Irving will also be one them, along with Los Angeles Sparks legend Lisa Leslie.

The Slam Dunk Contest has always been one of the most watched events of the All-Star Weekend, bringing a lot of cheers from fans and even players. This year's edition is expected to be a highly entertaining one, having four players who have showcased during games that they can throw down some vicious and powerful dunks.

With the five judges, they will definitely add to the glitz and glamour the weekend promises. It will be the first time the annual showcase will be held in Staples Center, and with the Lakers and Clippers co-hosting it.

There will definitely be no shortage of star power at the event, and it should live up to expectations being held in La La Land which is home to a lot of A-list celebrities.
