There’s probably no draft lottery prospect with a shiftier forecast than Missouri Tigers alum Michael Porter Jr. An equal number of people seemingly expect Porter to be taken within the top 1-5 range, 6-10 frame, and 11-14 bracket. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the L.A. Clippers and the Denver Nuggets are even holding hope that Porter falls out of the top 10 in which case they are ready to take him off the board.

Clippers (Nos. 12 and 13) and Nuggets (14) are preparing for possibility that Porter Jr., could drop to them.

Prior to that, Wojnarowksi notes that the recently released medical examination results of Porter have given teams reason to worry about using a draft pick on the versatile forward.

Michael Porter's agent, Mark Bartelstein, is delivering more detailed and recent medical info to lottery teams on Porter's back, believes he's given execs more reason to feel comfortable in long-term prognosis. Recent medical report circulated among teams caused major concern.

Porter played in only three games in college, as he sustained a back injury right in his very first game for Missouri. He managed to suit up a few months later for the Tigers but only appeared in two more games before declaring for the NBA Draft.
