Nassir Little is starting to climb up the draft boards as the NBA Draft draws near.

According to Jabari Young of The Athletic, a lot of people from the NBA believe that the former North Carolina Tar Heel is going to end up being selected in the top ten this June.

Although Little was tagged as a five-star prospect, he never started a single game for UNC this season. However, he's shown flashes of being an explosive scorer, as he averaged 19 points in his first two games in the NCAA. He went on to score at least 18 points six times last season season.

However, he has also scored single digits in 18 of the Tar Heels' 36 games, which is why a lot of scouts see him as inconsistent.

The 6-foot-6 forward averaged 9.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in his lone NCAA season.

During the draft combine, Little told reporters that a lot of his struggles can be attributed to the fact that his coaches in UNC didn't know how to utilize him properly.

“The coaching staff didn’t really understand what my role was, especially on offense. So it created a lot of hesitancy, which didn’t allow me to play like myself.”

Despite his flaws, Little's skillset is highly sought after in the NBA, as he can guard multiple positions in a game. If he will be able to develop a consistent offensive arsenal, he will be able to easily adapt to the league's modern style of play.

The draft combine is over, which means teams will schedule the prospects for individual and group workouts within the next couple of weeks. If Little will be able to continue his momentum, then he might just see himself get selected in the top ten.
