On the second night of back to back games against the San Antonio Spurs, the Golden State Warriors looked like a different team. Stephen Curry finished with 32 points in just 32 minutes and was able to sit out the entire fourth quarter.

Curry received plenty of help from his teammates. Kelly Oubre had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Eric Pachall recorded 15 points off the bench, and Draymond Green added 11 assists in a game where the Warriors cruised to a 114-91 victory.

This was a back to back Golden State welcomed after losing 105-100 the night before to the Spurs. “It was a good bounce-back win,” said Stephen Curry after the game. This win ends a four-game road trip for the Warriors, finishing with a 2-2 record. Coach Steve Kerr said he is pleased, but feels they could have done much better.

Golden State is starting to get in a rhythm offensively as a team with great ball movement and cuts to the basket. Green has recorded double-digit assists in all of his last 4 games.

“We're starting to find that flow and find that rhythm, guys are learning to play off of me and Steph” Green said. Golden State had 7 players score double digits in Tuesday night's game.

One of the double-digit scorers was Oakland native Juan Toscano-Anderson. Toscano-Anderson received lots of praise over the last four games, but the love he's getting off the court might be his favorite. He was awarded the 2019-20 NBA G League Community Assist Award.

“I make it a priority of mine to help others,” Toscano-Anderson told the media in a postgame interview. Golden State will need the help from Toscano-Anderson if they want their record to improve, especially with James Wiseman still out with injury.

The first half of this meeting with the Spurs was competitive and ended with a tie at 50 points each. However, the highlight of the game came in the first quarter with Stephen Curry driving to the basket, finishing a spectacular layup while getting fouled.

Draymond and Toscano-Anderson both said the play was Jordan-like. Curry didn't agree, instead saying, “I did switch hands that's the only comparison.” He said he will proudly accept the recognition of making the Smitty under the rim segment.

In the third quarter, Curry and the Warriors put their foot on the pedal pushing the game out of reach. It was a quarter where it seemed nobody could miss, Curry danced a little and they took a 86-70 lead and never looked back.

The win gives Golden State an overall record of 13-12, which is good for the 8th spot in the Western Conference.
