In a showdown between two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia 76ers earned a 130-125 road win against the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks.

The performance of the night goes to Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who scored a career-high 52 points despite the loss. He's the fourth player to score at least 50 points for the franchise in the 3-point era.

Well, at least Giannis Antetokounmpo made sure that this night will be remembered by the Sixers.

Still, the Sixers got the last laugh. Not only did they beat the Bucks, but they also clinched a playoff spot.

Joel Embiid led Philly with 40 points and 15 rebounds.

The Sixers have struggled to win a road game against some of the East's best teams. Prior to Sunday's victory, they haven't scored a win against Milwaukee, Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics away from Philadelphia. What's more impressive is that they beat a team with the best home record in the league.

Both teams are gearing up for the playoffs, and while the Bucks are seated comfortably at the top of the league standings, the Sixers are starting to gain momentum. Philly is loaded with talent, and when at full strength, they can definitely do some damage in the postseason.

Both teams could see each other in the second round of the playoffs.
