Nike has unveiled the “City edition” uniforms for all 30 NBA teams today and fans will surely have a lot to say about it.

Here is a look at some of the new threads:

Here's a look at all of the jerseys:

Nike is in the first season as the main provider of NBA jerseys. The company wanted to do something different for the alternate jerseys that teams wear, electing for themes rather than the usual alternate looks.

This city edition is the fourth uniform category, an attempt to capture and honor the fans of each franchise in the unique designs on the jerseys.

A statement from Nike:

The Nike NBA City Edition uniforms represent insights and emotion from the court to the upper deck to the cities’ streets, in pursuit of a unique way to capture each team and its city in a way that respects the past and present of the clubs while also positioning them for the future.

Most of these designs look pretty good so it's likely that fans will appreciate the new looks for their teams. Some are pretty familiar but for the most part, these looks are a lot different than the usual. It will be interesting to see once these are being worn in-game to truly get a feel for what they're like.
