Los Angeles Clippers small forward Paul George got savagely roasted by the Phoenix Mercury's twitter account after the NBA star played awful in Game 7 of the second round against the Denver Nuggets.

George, who nicknamed himself “Playoff P,” scored just 10 points in Game 7 on Tuesday and was one of the main reasons the Clippers blew a 3-1 series lead to the Nuggets.

The Mercury have a player by the name of Shey Peddy, and in the wake of George's horrendous showing, they tweeted a photoset with the caption “Can the real Playoff P please stand up?”

It came after their win over the Washington Mystics, during which Peddy scored 12 points in 27 minutes and hit the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.

George is going to want to stay off social media for a while. He and his Clippers teammates are getting trolled heavily by everyone on NBA Twitter and Instagram after the team choked against the Nuggets.

When Kawhi Leonard and Paul George teamed up on the Clippers, everyone thought they were going to compete for an NBA championship. Instead, Los Angeles reverted back to its old ways and blew yet another 3-1 series lead under head coach Doc Rivers.

So, what is next for the Clippers? Both Leonard and George can become free agents after the 2020-21 season ends. The odds of owner Steve Ballmer blowing up the roster is highly unlikely.

However, there could be some major roster changes in Clipper Land once the 2020 NBA Finals conclude.
