The NBA had its first team advance in—and another eliminated from—the 2020 playoffs, located entirely in the Orlando “bubble.” The Boston Celtics swept their bitter rival Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, but the last minute of the game felt like an eternity.

ESPN NBA broadcaster Doris Burke was not having the end of the game (and the series). The former standout college basketball player turned WNBA and NBA analyst had been on a roll in the bubble. This time, Burke called the end of Game 4 of the Celtics and Sixers' matchup a “bad date” (via The Athletic's Marcus Thompson).

Burke earlier in the bubble (the NBA's campus location at Walt Disney World) chided a former spouse, claiming to ask her ex-husband about how much she likes “being right.”

The end of Game 4—a four-point Celtics victory—saw the Sixers go out limp as the final minute featured multiple replay reviews, free throws, and timeouts.

The Sixers enter their belated offseason with a huge shake-up anticipated. Head coach Brett Brown could be a scapegoat, peeled off from the organization after seven years of loyal service—from “the Process” early days to back-to-back second-round playoff exists (and now a first-round sweep to a division rival).

Meanwhile, the Celtics have to be feeling good after taking down the Ben Simmons–less Sixers. They will head to a second-round date with the Toronto Raptors in the postseason, attempting to knock down the defending champs and another Atlantic Division foe, who are 3-0 over the depleted Brooklyn Nets and look to end the series on Sunday.
