Grant Hill is arguably Fila's biggest NBA endorser of all time. This is exactly why the now South Korea-based sporting goods company recently released a tribute video dedicated to one of the latest members of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

It was Hill himself who shared his former sponsor's homage through his personal Twitter account.

The feel-good tribute successfully condenses Hill's illustrious career in a one-minute clip. It briefly goes through the 1995 Rookie of the Year's strong start in the league, his amazing spell with his first team, the Detroit Pistons, the many adversities he faced throughout his career, and finally, the determination and fortitude he leaned on to overcome the tumultuous times.

As expected, Hill is seen wearing the iconic Fila Grant Hill II which was first released in 1996. In recent years, this particular pair of kicks has made a comeback as a retro pair that has appealed to the more nostalgic sneakerheads.

As per solecollector.com, aside from Hill who is credited as the brand's first ever NBA endorser, other notable names that have been affiliated with the brand include Hill's former teammate Jerry Stackhouse, Sacramento Kings legend Chris Webber, and former All-Star Jamal Mashburn.

Perhaps Fila is panning for a comeback to the NBA stage sometime soon. But then again, with how much money the likes of Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour have invested to become the top brands in the game today, Fila may want to think twice about swimming with the sharks.
