Recently-retired Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is mulling over the possibility of forming a team featuring himself, Kobe Bryant, and Dirk Nowitzki.

A fan by the name of Tyler Allred tweeted Wade on May 19, saying the three of them “should form a team.” Wade responded with several emojis suggesting it's something worth thinking about.

Did the fan suggest Wade, Bryant, and Nowitzki form a trio now? If that's what he meant, those three could still play – they're all in tip-top shape.

However, the thought of them making an NBA comeback is a far-fetched possibility. This applies more to Bryant and Nowitzki – they're both 40 years old.

Nonetheless, the thought of playing with Bryant and Nowitzki has intrigued Wade. If those three played on the same team during their heyday, they would've won several NBA titles together. No doubt about it.

Wade and Bryant are two slashing-type guards who can score and create opportunities at will. For his part, Nowitzki is one of the best shooters the NBA has ever seen. It would've been hard for the opposition to keep up with those three.

One interesting scenario is Wade, Nowitzki, and Bryant working together in broadcasting. They should offer interesting perspectives from the retired greats of the game.

Realistically, it's another far-fetched possibility. Bryant seems to have no inclinations covering basketball games. As for Wade and Nowitzki, it's an intriguing thought, to say the least.

For now, the idea of Wade, Bryant, and Nowitzki forming a super team is one of those “what-could-have-been” scenarios. Had it become reality, it would've taken the NBA by storm, for sure.
