NBA free agent JR Smith has found a new sport in snowboarding. He loves it so much but admitted that it's difficult to find the gear that fits his 6-foot-6 frame.

Via Twitter, Smith admitted his love for snowboarding. Howevea r, it's a pretty demanding sport. And it's not helping that Smith can't find apparel that fits him, which is difficulty most NBA players face.

Another fan tweeted that he suffered a snowboarding-related injury but kept at it. From the looks of it, Smith has the same undying passion for the sport.

Smith remains a free agent after winning a title with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 35-year-old now has two titles in his resume, the first one was with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

To recall, Smith inked a deal with the Lakers in July. He was a replacement for guard Avery Bradley who decided to opt-out of the bubble due to personal concerns. Smith played six out of eight bubble games where he averaged 2.8 points in 13.2 minutes. In the playoffs, he played 10 games and averaged 2.0 points in 7.5 minutes.

Though Smith seems to be very infatuated with snowboarding, he hasn't announced his retirement just yet. However, there are not many rumors signaling him making a return to the Lakers. The Purple and Gold will only be able to sign one more player to a veteran’s minimum contract in free agency. With regard to other teams, they seem to be prioritizing young guns who can immediately contribute to their squad.

But Smith has a pretty impressive resume. So it won't be a surprise if a team acquires him before the 2020-21 season kicks off.
