Keifer Sykes had himself a night on Tuesday.

Playing for Boeheim's Army in The Basketball Tournament, Sykes buried a clutch 3-pointer to give his team the win and a $1 million prize. Onions:

Not long after that, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported Keifer Sykes agreed to a deal with the Indiana Pacers. Not bad for a day's work.

Phoenix Suns star point guard Chris Paul took notice:

Sykes is a 6-foot guard hailing from Chicago. He attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and was a star there, but unfortunately he went undrafted in 2015.

Sykes got a Summer League invite from the Cleveland Cavaliers and then signed with the San Antonio Spurs before the 2015-16 season, only to be waived. The guard joined up with the Austin Spurs of the D-League as an affiliate player of San Antonio.

The guard played well in the D-League and got an invite from the Golden State Warriors for Summer League in 2016, but he has since spent his time bouncing around overseas. Sykes has played in Korea, Turkey, Italy, China, Greece and Australia, so he has legit been all around the world playing ball.

Keifer Sykes is now getting another chance in the NBA with Indiana. While it's still probably a long shot that he makes a final roster for the 2021-22 season, it's still another great opportunity for him to get in the NBA. And for at least one night, he was on top of the world.
