Many NBA players are concerned about resuming the season at Walt Disney World for a variety of reasons. Los Angeles Lakers forwards Kyle Kuzma and Jared Dudley, however, don't appear to be in that camp.

It's not a surprise that Lakers players are anxious to play again. The Purple and Gold had the best record in the Western Conference prior to games getting suspended.

If the Walt Disney World bubble plan comes to fruition, the Lakers will be one of the favorites to win the NBA title since they have two of the best players in the world in LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the charge.

Plenty of African-American players are hesitant to play basketball again due to the ongoing protests in America following the tragic murder of George Floyd in Minnesota. There is unease about relocating to a quarantined campus, along with concerns about sequestering a league comprised predominantly of black men while there is an ongoing racial justice movement.

“What message are we sending by agreeing to this during this time?” a black NBA player told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. “We’re out here marching and protesting, and yet we all leave our families in these scary times and gather to perform at a place where the owners won’t be at? What type of sense does that make? We’ll be going backwards. That place isn’t that magical.”

The decision to play will be up to each NBA player, but they will not be paid if they don’t play.

Only 22 NBA teams will be in the bubble in Orlando if this plan really does move forward. Only time will tell if the 2019-20 season can be completed.
