LaVar Ball's sense of overconfidence has now bled from his disparate claims about the coaching of his son Lonzo Ball with the Los Angeles Lakers back into the college ranks. Now, Ball is assuring he can prepare his middle son, LiAngelo Ball, better than UCLA can after pulling him from the school earlier today.

“I’m going to make him way better for the draft that UCLA ever could have,” Ball told ESPN's Darren Rovell.

A 6-foot-5, 230-pound guard, LiAngelo had yet to play a game for the Bruins amid his suspension, after infamously stealing sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store during the team's trip to China.

During friendly scrimmages, LiAngelo came off the bench and played limited minutes, not suggesting any sort of possible exposure to the NBA life and ranked well-below expectations coming out of a high school as a senior at Chino Hills High. LiAngelo is not currently in any of the country's lists for this upcoming 2018 NBA Draft.

LaVar has been known to be a UCLA loyalist, telling the media that he had planned for all of his kids to commit to the school and eventually be drafted by the Lakers.

This comes only months after the loud-mouthed Ballfather had pulled his youngest son, LaMelo Ball, out of Chino Hills, prompting to homeschool him through the next two years before he's set to attend UCLA, which he committed to as a high school freshman.
