The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics square off on Thursday at the TD Garden, and it looks like we are going to get a showdown between LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

LeBron James is probable to play versus the Celtics, while Kyrie Irving is off the injury report.

LeBron has played in two games since returning to the lineup after missing more than a month with a left groin injury. Irving, meanwhile, has been dealing with a lingering left hip strain. Uncle Drew didn't play on Tuesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Lakers are 27-27 on the season, 10th place in the Western Conference. The Celtics are 35-19, third place in the Eastern Conference. Los Angeles is coming off a blowout loss to the Indiana Pacers, while the Celtics defeated the lowly Cavs.

The King has 18 double-doubles and three triple-doubles on the season.

For the Celtics, Irving is averaging 23.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 7.0 assists. The now six-time All-Star is shooting 50.3 percent overall, 40.8 percent from the 3-point line and 85.4 percent from the foul line.
