Denver Nuggets rookie Michael Porter Jr. and new Los Angeles Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins will be two of the judges in The Tournament's dunk contest.

Per Harrison Wind of BSN Denver, the two NBA players will join Sterling Brown of the Milwaukee Bucks and skills trainer Chris Brickley as judges of the dunk contest on August 2 in Chicago.

The contest, per TBT Twitter, will feature eight dunkers who will try to posterize one another for the $40,000 top prize. The contestants are Will Coleman, Khalil Iverson, Leon Sewell, AJ Merriweather, Jumpin Joe, Michael Purdie, Joseph Osabi and Jay Wavey.

Do you believe that Michael Porter Jr. and DeMarcus Cousins will make great judges? Though most have not seen Porter's capabilities, it is for certain that he's one hell of a dunker. He even won the Mizzou Madness dunk contest a few years ago.

As for Cousins, he's not really known to be a dunker…and he probably never will. However, since he's been around in the NBA for quite some time, he definitely can judge a good dunk from an amazing one. He has also seen the NBA dunk contests up close. As such, he'll definitely hold up the correct scorecard right after every dunk.
